Chuck Hossfeld of Ransomville, N.Y., pulled off a last-lap, last-corner pass that gave him the win in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour New England 100. Also yesterday, a last-minute decision to take two tires instead of four during the final round of pit stops sent Tony Stewart to the front of the field and he stayed there, winning the NASCAR Nationwide Series Campers World 200.
