Monday, October 20, 2008 at 10:52 a.m. MARTINSVILLE, Va. (AP) - A popular NASCAR official from Illinois has been found dead at the age of 51. NASCAR officials say Steve Lawson's body was discovered in his hotel room in Virginia yesterday. There's no word yet on a cause of death.
