Richard Petty says Boston Ventures 'will provide us with the capital necessary to compete for wins and championships.' The team last won in 1999. Petty Enterprises, the venerable NASCAR team led by "King" Richard Petty, sold control of the family business today to investment firm Boston Ventures.
